Zina graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s in Art and a focus on ceramics and drawing. She was born and raised in Seattle Washington, and lives in the Fremont neighborhood. She is often seen on neighborhood walks with her dog Millie. Zina has always been as equally passionate about health and fitness as she has been about Art. She played Ultimate Frisbee at the University of Washington and coached Ultimate at Nathan Hale High school.
Zina was initially drawn to Barre because it offered a full body workout with minimal stress and pressure on joints. She finds Barre to be perfect cross training for just about anything because it builds up your stabilizing muscles and has a strong focus on strength and toning. She was trained and certified in the truBarretm method in 2012. She enjoys keeping it exciting by teaching a variety of Barre classes at the Fremont Health Club.
